Volleyball

Volleyball is a fast-paced team sport that combines athleticism, coordination, and strategy.

With its dynamic gameplay and emphasis on teamwork, it’s an exciting choice for those looking to stay active and engaged in a competitive environment.

The Oxford Brookes Volleyball Club trains and competes at Brookes Sport, Headington, and is open to new members of all abilities.

As part of the HEVO (Higher Education Volleyball Officer) programme run by Volleyball England, the club also offers volunteering opportunities for those interested in helping deliver recreational volleyball.

The club features both a Men’s and a Women’s Team, each competing in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Leagues, providing ample opportunities for players to develop their skills and enjoy the sport.

“Brookes volleyball; to play, to serve. Brookes volleyball has given me the opportunity to play volleyball at a high standard against teams across the country. I have made great friends and my volleyball skills have improved with the help of great coaching.”
