Cycling

Cycling is a versatile and exhilarating sport that caters to a wide range of disciplines, from road cycling to mountain biking.

As the Oxford Brookes Cycling Club restarts this academic year, they welcome interest from cyclists of all disciplines, whether you're interested in competing or simply enjoying the ride.

Historically, the club has had two main sections, offering opportunities for both mountain biking and road cycling. Club members have the chance to compete in British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions, as well as participate in social rides and mountain bike trips.

Even if you don't join the Oxford Brookes Cycling Club, all students and staff can take advantage of the Bike Doctor, which provides bike repairs with free labour so you only pay for parts. Cycling to and around our campuses is also encourage as part of our Brookes Active programme, promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
