Jill Duffy has been Chief Executive of OCR, one of the 3 main exam boards in the UK, since 2018. Prior to this she led the UK schools business at education company Pearson for 5 years and prior to that, spent 22 years in educational publishing.
Jill began her education career as an editor at Oxford University Press and subsequently worked for publishers including Hodder & Stoughton, Harcourt, and Ginn. She has a PGCE and a degree in English Literature from Oxford University.
Jill is Chair of the Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ).
