Crescent Hall is located between two popular student areas, Cowley Road and Headington. It is our most cost-effective hall offering excellent value for money.
The courtyard space at Crescent Hall is the perfect space for socialising on warmer days.
All halls are self-catered with each flat having its own shared kitchen for you to cook your own meals.

- Beds: 306 study bedrooms in flats of 6, 7, or 9 people

38 week contracts for the 2024/25 academic year run from Saturday 14 September 2024 until Friday 6 June 2025.
50 week contracts for the 2024/25 academic year run from Saturday 14 September 2024 until Friday 29 August 2025.
Longer contracts will be offered to students on the following courses to accommodate the longer course length:
- Nursing students - 42 week contract from 14 September 2024 to 7 July 2025.
- Midwifery students - 47 week contract from 14 September 2024 to 9 August 2025.
- Art Foundation students - 41 week contract from 31 August 2024 to 13 June 2025.
- Single study bedrooms: £134.96 per week
- Total: £5,109.20 for 38 weeks or £6,728.72 for 50 weeks*
*50 week contracts are available to Postgraduate students only. Some blocks have 38 week contracts and some have 50 week contracts. It is not possible to change the contract length assigned to a room.
38 week contracts for the 2025/26 academic year run from Saturday 13 September 2025 until Friday 5 June 2026.
50 week contracts for the 2025/26 academic year run from Saturday 13 September 2025 until Friday 28 August 2026.

Payments
You'll pay your rent via the Accommodation Portal.

Crescent hall is in the Cowley area, just a short BROOKESbus ride or cycle from our Headington Campus. It is a popular student area with a range of shops, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and bars close by. It is also very close to other Cowley-based halls: Paul Kent Hall and Parade Green. BROOKESbus links from the hall are available in the evenings and at the weekend to the Cowley Road and City Centre.
