At the Cathedral we will attend a Evensong, sung by the choir. Evensong is a traditional evening service that has been part of the musical and cultural heritage of England for centuries.
Open to all students, you do not need to be a practising Christian to visit the Cathedral.

A welcoming group for any trans or gender non-conforming student who would like to meet others having the same experience. The group runs fortnightly during semester-time.
This is an autonomous group for people with a lived experience of exploring gender beyond the binary. If you identify as trans, gender non-conforming, genderqueer, or are questioning your identity you are welcome in this space. The staff facilitators are a member of Inclusive Support staff and a chaplain.

A key skill you will learn at university is how to take control of your independent reading. It is quite common to feel unsure about whether you are finding the right sources, or if you are making the best use of your reading time. This workshop will look at some key skills for deciding which texts will and won’t be useful for you, and getting what you need from them as efficiently as possible.
