Hello and welcome to Oxford Brookes University!

The Student Induction Team are looking forward to welcoming you soon. We will be here to guide and support you as you settle into university life, from before you arrive through to the first few weeks of semester.

Most students will join the main Induction Week from Monday 19 to Friday 23 January 2026. Your course team will arrange a programme of activities for you for this week. This is called your course induction schedule - it will be available to view here from Tuesday 6 January 2026. Please make sure you find and follow this schedule.

Tuesday 6 January: online enrolment opens; view your course induction schedule for Induction Week
Monday 12 January: access your Oxford Brookes email account (provided you have enrolled successfully)
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January: Arrivals Weekend
Monday 19 to Friday 23 January: Induction Week
Monday 26 January: Semester one begins
Friday 6 February: enrolment deadline for full-time students
Friday 13 February: enrolment deadline for part-time students

Complete your online enrolment

The first step to becoming a full Oxford Brookes student is completing your online enrolment. Online enrolment opens on Tuesday 6 January 2026 and most students will receive their emails inviting them to enrol within about a week of that date. Once you have enrolled you will be able to complete other important tasks such as setting up your Oxford Brookes emails.

Arrivals and induction

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January 2026 is Arrivals Weekend. Most students will choose to arrive in Oxford this weekend, especially those who will be moving into halls. The Student Induction Team will be available both days to offer advice and support, plus there will be some events taking place on the Sunday.

Monday 19 to Friday 23 January 2026 is Induction Week. During this week most students will have a schedule of induction activities to follow. These activities are designed to introduce you to your course team, coursemates, the study platforms you'll be using and the facilities available to you. Course induction schedules will be available to view from Tuesday 6 January onwards.
