About the course
The NUTR101 Essentials of Nutrition course is a self-study/self-paced online short course designed to support both science and non-science graduates who need to demonstrate a foundational understanding of the principles of nutritional sciences. The course includes approximately 6 hours of lecture recordings, interactive teaching materials, practice quizzes, and recommended additional readings to deepen your understanding of key topics.
The cost for the entire course package is £300.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate, which can be used to meet one of the entry requirements for enrollment* in our MSc Dietetics (pre-registration) course. The Oxford Brookes MSc Dietetics (pre-registration) course is in the process of being accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
*Successful completion of this short course alone does not guarantee you an automatic enrolment onto the MSc programme. Please see the full list of MSc entry requirements and/or refer to your post-interview conditional offer letter for further information.
