ISAT Movie Night - Thursday 6 March

Booking: This is a free event, but booking is required. Tickets can be booked via the online shop.
Join us for an evening of film and snacks! There will be refreshments and snacks to accompany the film. Film choice will be decided by students via Instagram Poll.
Harry Potter Studios Tour - Saturday 15 March
When: Saturday 15 March 2025
Where: Warner Brothers Studio Tour, Leavesden
Price: £50 (this includes your tour ticket (usually £56) and FREE travel from Headington Campus).
Booking: Booking essential. Tickets will be available on the online shop from 20 January 2025.
Join ISAT for a trip to the world famous Harry Potter Studios Tour. Tickets for this are extremely limited so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment!
You'll be able to 'walk in the footsteps of Harry Potter and explore the wonders of the Wizarding World'. You can visit the Warner Brothers Studio website to find out more about what you'll see on the tour.

Join us for an evening of fun crafts accompanied by Easter themed refreshments. It's a great opportunity to socialise, make friends and get creative with other international students while enjoying some tasty Easter treats! All craft items you decorate/create are yours to take home!

These trips are organised by ISAT and our favourite tour guide Rob Tanner. ISAT manages bookings/website/online shop and student enquiries. Rob leads the tours on the day.
Guided Tour of London - Saturday 25 January
When: Saturday 25 January 2025
Price: £15 (travel not included)
Meeting point: Rob, our tour guide, will meet you at the London Victoria Rail Station bus stop at 11.30am (UK time)

Meet our guide Rob in London at 11:30am for a two hour walking tour and you’ll hear some amazing stories about this incredible city while viewing Buckingham Palace, St James’s Park, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, The Strand, Convent Garden and the South Bank of the River Thames.
… and that’s just the start of the day, there is a 24 hour bus back to Oxford Brookes, so you can return when you want. Why not ask Rob for info on some places to see in your free time? Remember some of the top museums and attractions in London are free to visit!

Transport: Please note that you need to organise and pay for your own transport to and from London. We recommend that you book an early coach or train, as there may be delays during your journey. If you have a lot of spare time in London before the start of the tour, you can grab a coffee or go for a wander around the area.
Trip to Bath - Saturday 1 February

Trip Overview:
Over 2,000 years of history. Stunning 250 year old streets and houses.
Rob will tell you the history of this unique City on the way to Bath and after a quick orientation tour, your free time begins. You’ll have time to explore the centre of the city and attractions such the underground Roman Bath Museum.
In the afternoon we will head to the hills for some great views, more extraordinary history on the coach tour and then a walk to two of the most incredible streets in England: The Circus and the Royal Crescent.

Trip to Wales (Cardiff & Tintern Abbey) - Saturday 15 February

Trip Overview:
A day in Britian’s most Traditional Country.
You’ll hear the history of this nation, its people and language from Rob and enter the enchanting Tintern Abbey just across the border from England. Then it’s off to the Capital City with an afternoon free to explore the bay, the castle and the bustling city centre. You’ll also get a chance to visit the free museum and get up close to some of the most famous art by the Impressionists.

Trip to Brighton - Saturday 1 March

Trip Overview:
On the way to Brighton, Rob will tell you the story of how a sleepy fishing village turned into the most exciting seaside city in the UK. Your free time begins as soon as you get off the coach.
Go and see the attractions by the beach, the palace pier, the fashionable Lanes, the freaky North Laine shops and the extraordinary Royal Pavilion.
On the way home, we visit Devil’s Dyke, which on a clear day has perhaps the most amazing view in Southern England.

Trip to Salisbury & Bournemouth with a view of Stonehenge - Saturday 22 March
When: Saturday 22 March 2025

Trip Overview:
On the way we will pass Stonehenge. Rob will tell you about the very latest research into the 5,000 year old stone circle.
At Salisbury we will see another extraordinary monument, the 123 metre high Cathedral, for centuries the tallest building in Britain. Rob will tell you details about the beautiful and historic city before your free time. We then drive though the New Forest to the sandy beaches of Bournemouth with indoor and outdoor attractions.
