To reply to your offer and accept your place you will need to reply directly to the University by the deadline given. All international students will need to pay a deposit to secure their place at Oxford Brookes, or provide evidence of financial sponsorship by an Oxford Brookes approved sponsor. The deposit will be between £3,000 and £8,000 and will be deducted from your first tuition fees payment.
Before you start your course, you will also need to decide how you are going to pay your tuition fees. You can pay your tuition fees in instalments by a number of different methods.
You will be able to apply for a place in our halls of residence once you have accepted your offer. You will be sent an email from our Accommodation Bureau, inviting you to apply.
If you are starting a course in September, we will send you your invitation after you have accepted your offer and you will need to apply by late July. If you are starting in January, we will send you your invitation to apply in November and you will need to apply by mid-December.
Once you have been assigned a room in a Hall of Residence, you will be required to sign a formal contract digitally. As soon as you sign your contract, you are entering into a legally binding financial agreement, so you should be aware of these terms and agree to them before signing.
Most applicants will receive a conditional offer. This means that we would like to offer you a place on your chosen course, but we do not yet have sufficient information from you to confirm that place. Your offer letter will clearly state the conditions of your offer.

Once you have met any of the conditions for your course, you should send proof immediately to the Admissions Office. Direct applicants can upload their evidence directly to their portal.
If English is not your first language and you have not yet taken a recognised English language test, it is likely that a condition of your offer will relate to English language.
If you have already taken an English language test, but not reached the required level, you could take our Pre-sessional English course. If you successfully complete this course you will meet our language entry requirements without needing to take another external English language test.
When you have met all the conditions of your offer you will receive an unconditional offer and your place at Oxford Brookes University is guaranteed
There is a lot to do when preparing for university. One of the most important things is getting your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) from us. You need a CAS so that you can get your Student Visa to study in the UK.
We use CAS Shield, an online self-service system, which allows you to upload all the vital information and documents that our Applicant Compliance Team needs to issue your CAS. You’ll also be able to view live updates on your CAS Shield profile at any time.
If you intend to study or research one of the subjects included in the Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS), including science, engineering, and technology, we will need a valid ATAS certificate before we can award you a CAS. Learn more about ATAS requirements.
