Continuing students

Registering your modules is a very simple process and it has been created to give you the best possible opportunities to select your choices and plan in advance your academic and personal schedule well ahead of the upcoming academic year.

Please note:

  • When selecting your modules that the detail of your modules has been agreed by the Faculty, but the University may need to modify some course content in response to any government requirements which are in place during the 2023/24 academic year.
  • Please check for any updates to module descriptions before finalising your selections, as when you re-enrol with the University for study in the academic year 2023/24, you will be confirming that you are content to proceed with the course as detailed at that time.
  • Please note that January is not an amendment period for all students. Only students continuing students who started in January or those returning from temporary withdrawal will be able to use this period.
  • If you have any errors on your programme, please contact your Student Support Co-ordinators.

What is the module registration process?

You must register your module options for the next academic year at the appropriate time. You will find your deadline information above. You must ensure you have submitted your selections by this deadline in order to give you the best opportunity to register for your preferred choice of module, and to have an earlier timetable that will help you with the planning and management of your personal schedule for the next academic year.

The process consists of 3 simple steps:

1. Registration window

For all students.

  • According to the date that you started your course and/or specific course characteristics or student circumstances.
  • Please click on one of the options above to find your registration window.

2. Amendment period

Only for students who registered their modules in the previous registration window and, after receiving their results, need to amend their options

  • This amendment period will take place over a two-week period during results week.
  • This will give students who didn't progress as expected an opportunity to change their selected modules according to their results of the previous academic year, and a chance to consult with their Programme Team.

3. Amendment period for students with failed resits

Only for students who failed their resits.

  • This period will only be open for students who failed their resits and need to amend their choices for the next academic year.
