About People XD

People XD provides the University with a seamlessly integrated system that provides a rich, intuitive end-user experience with a broad and deep access to information.

People XD enables employees to log on to the Staff Portal from anywhere in the world using any Internet-enabled device including iPad/ iPhone/ Android/ Mac/ PC.

Recruitment, absence management, and line manager requests are conducted through this system and in the future, we are aiming for staff to be able to complete claim forms where required.

People XD is used by a number of other universities including: Oxford University, Glasgow University, Sheffield Hallam University, University of Hertfordshire, Liverpool, plus many more.

What is the People Information and Payroll System?

The People XD system for People Data and Payroll went live in May 2015 replacing existing outdated solutions. It is a cloud based integrated People Information and Payroll solution.

With access via the People XD Staff Portal using your usual University log in details, employees can:

Go to my profile to view and update their personal data, including contact details, bank details, next of kin, ethnicity and diversity information.
Go to payment to view and print their payslips and P60s.
Submit requests for Annual Leave and TOIL.
Go to my recruitment to view and apply for University posts.
Go to my interviews to manage recruitment activity including viewing job applicants for roles you are recruiting to.
Line Managers can use the Manager Dashboard to view their staff and raise Manager Requests for the People Operations team to process.
