The Post and Distribution team has maintained a flexible delivery schedule this year in response to demand for its service. The schedule below will be in place until January 2025 when it will be reviewed again. If you have any specific requirements please email ecs-post@brookes.ac.uk and the team will try to help.
Campus deliveries (Monday-Friday except Bank Holidays and Concessionary Days):
- Harcourt Hill Campus - Monday / Wednesday / Friday at approximately 10.00am
- Marston Road Site - daily at approximately 1.30pm
- Swindon Campus - Tuesday / Friday at approximately 10.00am, delivery / collection from Print & Post Room, Fuller Building, Gipsy Lane Site.
Gipsy Lane Site, Headington Campus:
Royal Mail post delivery:
Incoming post is delivered weekly ad hoc depending on parcel deliveries around campus. Outgoing post will no longer be collected. Please bring any outgoing post to the Print & Post Room counter, Fuller Building, which is open daily from midday to 3.30pm. Please note the Royal Mail collection is at 3.30pm; please allow plenty of time for items of post to be processed. If there is not enough time to process your post items, they will move to the next working day for collection.
Royal Mail parcel delivery:
Non-ambient parcels are delivered daily subject to courier arrivals. Ambient parcels are delivered as soon after arrival as possible.
Deliveries of personal parcels and Christmas closure
- Any parcels that are easily recognisable as personal will be held at Goods In and we will notify you. Once you receive confirmation from us, or supplier/courier that it has been delivered, please collect it from Goods In, in Fuller Building, between 8.00am and 4.00pm (weekdays). You must bring ID with you.
- Ordering from Amazon? We encourage you to use the secure Amazon lockers located on campus.
- The Post and Distribution team does not accept any liability for personal parcels (eg for missed deliveries).
- Please note that deliveries from couriers are accepted until 4.00pm – any deliveries attempted after this time may be returned. The last deliveries to be accepted from couriers will be Monday 23 December. No responsibility will be accepted by the Goods In department for packages left outside the building between the hours of 4.00pm and 8.00am the following day, over weekends/Concessionary days or Bank Holidays/shutdown periods.
- Counter service for posting personal letters and parcels is available between 12 noon and 3.30pm (weekdays) – card payment only. The last collection of post by Royal Mail will be Monday 23 December. Please see the Royal Mail website for posting deadlines.
- The Post Room will be closed from 3.30pm on Monday 23 December 2024 and re-open on Thursday 2 January 2025.
