Community Matters
Two years on from when we first introduced everyone to Dr. Georg Herdt, he's back and talking about the importance of community in sport.
Georg has been a valued member of the Brookes Sport community for many years, using our facilities to help manage his symptoms of Friedreich's Ataxia. We first introduced Georg in 2020 during our UK Disability History Month campaign, where we featured an in-depth interview about his journey. Since then, Georg has become an inspiring advocate, writing several impactful articles and having his story widely shared by Ataxia UK.
