Towards the end of each academic year, the Community Engagement Team and Student Community Wardens run the ‘From Hall to Home Campaign’ to provide advice and guidance to students moving out of halls of residences and into private rented accommodation.
We know that moving into shared housing for the first time can be fun and exciting, but it also comes with responsibility. We have worked collaboratively with Brookes Security, the police and Oxford City Council’s Community Response and Recycling teams to provide you with information on living in the community.
This includes:
Top tips on how to settle into the community and be a responsible neighbour
how to manage your waste and recycling
how to keep yourself, your valuables and your property safe.
We will be visiting some halls during the week of 27 March, and further information on the advice we will be providing can be found on our Student information webpage. Our Student Community Wardens will also be sharing top tips regularly on their Instagram, follow them @brookesscws to keep updated.
