Adoption and surrogacy policy

This Adoption/Surrogacy policy applies to all employees regardless of their length of service, when one or more children are newly matched for adoption or when a child is born through a surrogacy arrangement.

The University is committed to the advancement of equality, diversity and inclusion for all of its staff and to developing working practices and People Directorate policies that support work-life balance. Reflecting this commitment the provisions of the University’s Adoption/Surrogacy policy exceed the statutory requirements.
