Senior Lecturer in Management and Professional Development
School of Psychology, Social Work and Public Health
Role
I teach on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Having a clinical background as a Therapeutic Radiographer, coupled with sound theoretical foundation has enabled transition from a clinical role to teaching in Higher Education. The clinical background allows integration of practice into theory and enhances application in Health and Social Care professions. I am also a Dissertation supervisor on the Masters in Management in Health and Social Care.
My role as Senior Lecturer extends to a BSc Subject Co-ordinator in which I support the students on the undergraduate progarmmes in Professional Development in Health and Social Care and Health Sciences to allow a smooth transition through their studies. I am also the Liaison Manager for Oxford Brooke’s Partner, New College Swindon, and in this role, I maintain Oxford Brooke University’s academic standards.
