The University has established a Business Support Fund to enable businesses to have greater access to Business School programmes and services.
The fund operates to remove barriers to participation by small businesses and their leaders, primarily by subsidising fees charged on our short courses.
The fund is financed through surpluses on Business School commercial operations and by contributions from larger organisations who wish to support local businesses to develop and grow. We also charge an optional 10% supplement on bespoke projects and courses designed specifically for individual businesses to enable them to contribute to the Fund.
The Business School manages the fund at its discretion to support key industry sectors, small businesses and identified skills shortages.
Organisations can contribute to the Fund to help individuals and small businesses by contacting us to make appropriate arrangements.
