You don't need to be a Brookes Sport member to enjoy our facilities - most are available on a Pay As You Go (PAYG) basis! Simply register with us, and you’ll be able to book activities through the Brookes Sport app for Android, Brookes Sport app for iOS, or our Book Online portal.
To access all our facilities you must be a registered PAYG user.

For fitness classes, bookings can be made on the Brookes Sport app on Android or IOS, or via our web Book Online portal. Current PAYG users can book up to 7 days in advance, whilst Direct Debit, Annual, and Monthly paid members are entitled to priority booking of up to 10 days in advance.

All gym users must be at least 16 years old. For those aged 16 and 17, a gym induction is mandatory before using the facilities. Prior to the gym induction, a parent or guardian must complete the U18 Liability Disclaimer for Gym Facilities Usage Consent Form. To schedule a gym induction, please speak to reception or email us at brookesactive@brookes.ac.uk. Please note that inductions require a trained staff member and may not be available if requested on your first visit. Also, users under 18 are only permitted to use weights up to 15kg.
Off-Peak Fitness Classes are classes at Headington and Harcourt Hill before 3.00pm on weekdays only. Please note that this does not include our Learn to Lift fitness class due to the small class format.

All users of the Brookes Climb Centre must complete the Climbing Participation Agreement, prior to attending.
We no longer offer bookable sessions. PAYG Day Passes are now available only from reception, subject to space availability. The Day Pass grants you all-day access to our Climbing Centre and gym during opening hours. The Off-Peak Pass offers access to both facilities before 3.00 pm.
A registered adult climber can supervise a maximum of two under 18s. Under 18s must also be registered and have completed the Climbing Participation Agreement, prior to attending.

The Headington Sports Hall is able to accommodate Basketball, Volleyball, Indoor Football, Netball, etc and bookings can only be made on the hour. The Synthetic Turf Pitch is for outdoor activities such as Hockey, small-sided Football, Lacrosse training, etc.
