Postgraduate study discount

We offer a 10% discount on tuition fees to all graduates (those who have completed their undergraduate degree at Oxford Brookes) wanting to stay on or return to study for an additional degree.

The offer is open to alumni from the UK as well as those categorised as overseas for fee purposes. It is designed to enable students to continue their studies on taught master's, MPhil or PhD programmes.

Business courses

The Business School is able to offer an alumni discount on any postgraduate course module on a non-assessed basis. This enables former students to improve their skills in specific areas without having to participate in the whole course.

Access to University services

Oxford Brookes Centre for Sport membership

From as little as £12.99 per month (off peak membership), alumni can access the gyms and sports hall. Other memberships are available that allow access to:

A small seminar room is available free of charge, complete with video playback facilities for coaching meetings and reunions. A full range of University sports clothing and equipment is available in the Centre for Sport shop.

Oxford Brookes Library membership

Alumni can continue to use the library free of charge. However, if you would like to borrow up to 5 books you can register for a discounted annual alumni subscription fee. Please note this doesn't include access to electronic resources (e-books, e-journals, databases), use of University pcs or group study rooms / pods.

Brookes Union

This benefit gives you the same access to campus that you had when you were here. You can purchase tickets for Brookes Union events and can use the facilities and bars at all opening times, with no restrictions.

Access research journals

The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. All DOAJ services are free of charge including being indexed. All data is freely available.

Support for recent graduates

After you graduate we offer you three years of career support.

Oxford Brookes University's Careers and Employment Centre can help you whether you are looking for your first graduate job, a work placement, part-time/casual work or going on to further study. They can help you with interview techniques, mock interviews and career pathways. There is also an online database or 'talent bank' that you can access for current graduate jobs. Please note that the interview support may be virtual, for example through skype or on the telephone.
