Refashion: Carbon Cost of Fashion Exhibit

As part of the No Waste Week at Oxford Brookes, Cherwell Collective will display the one-of-a-kind interactive exhibit showcasing the stages of textile production and industry through the ages.

Every item we purchase has a carbon cost. The production of clothing and textiles is particularly carbon-intensive, but this industry often gets less focus when it comes to climate change.

As part of the Carbon Cost of Fashion Campaign, Cherwell Collective has created a one-of-a-kind interactive exhibit showcasing the stages of textile production and industry through the ages. This will help you understand how problems can be solved and why change is necessary. Through immersive storytelling, you can witness the environmental repercussions of these milestones and be guided towards sustainable alternatives.

After its debut at Blenheim Palace for Sustainable Fashion Week in September, we are excited to host this exhibit at Oxford Brookes' Headington Campus during No Waste Week.
