Mental health affects all of us, and good mental health is an asset that helps us to thrive. Join us for this panel discussion exploring new and emerging challenges impacting on mental health in the post-pandemic world, including student mental health. For instance, what might the change in Government mean for mental health in our society? By addressing these topics, the lecture seeks to empower individuals with knowledge, reduce stigma, and promote a supportive community environment.
 

Tarek Zghoul is an academic clinical fellow in psychiatry. His primary research interests are in affective disorders, and in particular bipolar depression.

A representative from Oxfordshire Mind, our local mental health charity, which has been campaigning for better mental health in Oxfordshire for over 50 years.

Jéssie Linhaça is VP Liberation and Community at Brookes Union, and advocates for support for students who are neurodivergent, have disabilities, or mental health problems.

Rebecca Howard Burrell is Counselling Services Manager at Oxford Brookes University, supporting students through workshops, groups, individual counselling and a host of mental health resources.
