Presentation and public speaking skills

Participants will discover new approaches to public speaking that reduce anxiety and boost confidence, while learning strategies to communicate clearly and confidently.

Details

A successful presentation requires not only engaging content but also clear and confident delivery. This workshop, delivered by external speaker, Dr Jamie Pei (Work/Play Coach, PhD trainer and People’s Choice Award winner of UK 3MT 2018) provides guidance for refining the physical and verbal aspects of presenting to ensure you’re always maximising your impact and audience engagement.

The session will cover effective use of slides and props, and share practical tips for how to practise thoroughly, ensuring you are well prepared long before you step up on stage. Finally, the session offers bonus tips for how to navigate Q&A sessions and respond to feedback with self-assurance, conviction and ease.
