How to make a preposterously pathetic poster?

Posters are a great way to capture the essence of your research and in this session, we consider what makes a good poster.

Details

In some disciplines it is common to communicate your research through making and presenting posters, for example at conferences or symposia. Posters are a great way to capture the essence of your research in a colourful, engaging, highly visual way that catches the eye and generates interest.

In this session, we consider what makes a good (and what makes a bad, that is, a preposterously pathetic) poster, and provide hints and tips and practical advice for making a really great one.

Presenter: Dr John Runions, Professor in Cell and Molecular Biology.
