Student Central Advice Team’s new home
The drop-in service for the Student Central Advice Team at Headington will have a new home in the John Henry Brookes Building from Monday 5 August.
As part of a University project to create more teaching spaces on the Headington Campus, the Student Central office space on the ground floor of John Henry Brookes Building (JHBB) will be refurbished over the summer to create a new lecture theatre for use from September. As part of these improvements, the current Student Central counter will permanently close on Friday 5 July.
We are pleased to confirm that the new home for the Student Central Advice Team’s drop-in service will open on Monday 5 August in the Careers space in the JHBB’s Forum.
From August this will become a new shared space where staff and students will be able to access a number of services including Financial Aid, the International Student Advice Team (ISAT) and Careers.
The Student Central Advice Team’s drop-in service will be available from 11.00am to 3.00pm on Monday to Fridays.
Contact details to arrange in-person appointments can be found on the Financial Aid and ISAT webpages - further information on any changes to arrangements for the new academic year will be added to the teams' webpages over the summer months.
Information on how to get in contact with Careers can be found on the University website - these webpages will also be updated over the summer with further details on how to get in touch with the team in the new academic year.
Between Monday 8 July and Friday 5 August the Student Central Advice Team will continue to be contactable via email. Zoom room availability will remain unchanged and be open Monday to Friday between 10.00am to midday and 2.00pm to 4.00pm. The team will also be able to see students who email for an appointment.
