This workshop, delivered by external speaker Dr Jamie Pei (Work/Play Coach, PhD trainer and People’s Choice Award winner of UK 3MT 2018) provides practical tools for creating compelling content for impactful presentations.

Participants will learn how to harness the passion behind their research and communicate it effectively to both academic and non-specialist audiences. They’ll learn a simple technique to identify the core message of each presentation so that they are always communicating with clarity and focus. They’ll also be introduced to four key principles and three simple guiding questions to elevate their presentations, making them more engaging, impactful and relevant to their audience at all stages of delivery.

• 2 hour online interactive workshop 
• Delegates are encouraged to attend both this session and the follow-up workshop on Presentation & Public Speaking Skills, Wednesday 7 May 2025, 10:00am - 12:00pm, wherever possible.
