Children and Young People Network Festival

The Oxford Brookes Children and Young People (CYP) Network Festival of Research takes place from 24 to 25 June 2024.

The issues affecting children and young people cross over into broad areas of expertise across the University. Therefore, this year on Day 1 of the CYP Festival of Research (Monday 24 June) we are delighted to be collaborating with other Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange networks to explore mutual areas of research interest and opportunities for development.

The CYP Festival of Research also includes:

  • Schools outreach day including keynotes, three minute thesis competition and five hands-on activities (Headington Tuesday) 
  • The Children’s University Graduation Ceremony (Harcourt, Tuesday)
  • PDW for teachers led by Professor Patrick Alexander (Headington, Tuesday)
  • Hamilton Brookes podcast session (Harcourt, Tuesday)

This event is for anyone at Oxford Brookes University who is interested in hearing about the latest research across Oxford Brookes on children and young people, from an inter-disciplinary perspective. All are welcome – for the whole day or to dip in to one or two sessions of particular interest.
