What has been your favorite thing about studying at Oxford Brookes so far?
The best part of studying at Brookes is that I could choose the subject of Motorsport Engineering and there is a racing team here, called Oxford Brookes Racing (OBR), and it is great as they are like a family more than a team. They support us in everything and the styles, the classes are good and you get every kind of facility and help. For example, if we are facing a problem, with a software or any kind of problems, they are ready to help you at any time, so that is a great experience!
Where are you living?
The accommodation at the University is just splendid and it was a great idea taking it as the facilities are great. I am currently living at Lady Spencer Churchill hall based at Wheatley Campus, which is just nearby the Engineering campus, so it is a great location for me. We have great facilities like a canteen, library and many other labs, [such] as computer labs which you can use at any time, and we have access to all kinds of softwares and books which it's a great support for our studies.
What were your first impressions of Oxford?
I think that the city of Oxford is great, during the first few days I was just exploring the city, visiting different places and it was a great experience. As it is an ancient city, there are many monuments and many churches, which it's great and also it's a calm city, actually! It's not properly busy...it's a really calm, neat and peaceful city, so studying in an environment like this really helps!
How have you found making friends at the university?

What would be your top tips for other international students that are thinking about coming to the UK or coming to Oxford Brookes?
I had a passion for racing, so I ended up at Oxford Brookes University which is the best University to study this course as it has all kinds of facilities and things. So for the students who are thinking of coming to the UK, you should look for the best University that will suit your course demands and suits you best.
Have you found the university to give you enough support during your time here so far?
The lecturers and everyone has been totally supportive because due to the pandemic we don't meet personally, everything is online, but still they are always ready to help! Whether it is personal or studying-related, they are ready to help you with all kinds of doubts or anything that we need help with! In my case...I'm a slow learner, they were okay with it and they offered me their full support, always giving me good advice on how to cope with the emotions and personal things, so yeah, it has been a great service and I feel fully integrated.
Can you sum up your time so far at Oxford Brookes in one word?
I would say it's awesome, that's the word that I would use! Because everything has been so good until now and...the support from the staff has been great, they are always there, supporting you, so yeah, it has just been awesome!
