I work as an Advanced Nurse practitioner in General Practice and am a part-time research student.  Research has been shown to reduce patient mortality, improve care, and aid staff recruitment and retention in health services. Consequently, research forms a pillar of advanced practice. However, evidence suggests that the research pillar of advanced practice is underdeveloped. The REACT study aims to develop a better understanding of the research pillar of advanced practice.
