Dr Penghui Dai started his academic employment as a Lecturer in Strategic Management at Oxford Brookes University in February 2024. He holds a PhD in Management from Henley Business School, University of Reading, where he primarily specialises in family business governance in the largest emerging market (China). He achieves an MSc in Accounting and Finance as well as a Bachelor of Management (BSc) in Business Administration (Accounting).
Penghui carries out several roles, such as teaching, research, and administration, at Oxford Brookes Business School. He is currently acting as a module leader for “Strategic Planning in Practice” module and engaging in students’ assessment of “Innovation, Change & Organisations” module. He is also supervising dissertations for postgraduate students.

Penghui’s current research interests include Strategic Management, Corporate Governance, Board of Directors, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Sustainability. He is primarily undertaking quantitative research and also interested in qualitative research.
