In her capacity as Subject Coordinator for the BSc Business and Finance programmes, Maryam collaborates closely with the Programme Lead, students, and the executive team. Her efforts are instrumental in advancing and enhancing the quality and scope of these programmes.

Maryam is eager to take on the role of supervisor for student projects and dissertations. She is committed to assessing students' work and progress, providing constructive feedback, and guiding their academic journey. As an academic adviser, she is available to support both undergraduate and postgraduate students with their dissertations and projects. Additionally, she is experienced in serving as a Ph.D. supervisor, offering guidance and support to Ph.D., Master's, and MBA students as they work towards their academic goals.

Maryam's primary research activities concentrate on the field of Accounting and Finance, covering areas such as Financial Accounting, Corporate Reporting, Financial Information Quality, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). Her research predominantly focuses on quantitative methods, particularly static and dynamic panel data analysis. However, her interests and work extend beyond these topics, encompassing a broad spectrum of research areas within accounting and finance, such as corporate reporting, risk management, and audit quality.
