Role
I have been an English teacher since 1995 and have worked mainly in Australia at the University of Tasmania and in Asia, latterly at the British Council in Burma. I have taught EAP, ESP and general English programmes. I joined Oxford Brookes in 2013 when I moved permanently to England and now work here full-time as a University Teacher on the University English, Pre-Master's and Foundation programmes.

Research
I am interested in exploring the value of feedback for students in their writing, and how effective EAP pre-sessional language courses in preparing students for their future undergraduate/postgraduate studies.
