Role
I joined Oxford Brookes in December 2016 as a full time Senior Lecturer in Construction, having previously taught architecture and engineering at Leicester DMU, Central St Martins UAL and Southampton University. Prior to becoming an academic, I worked as a structural engineer for 20 years at Ove Arup and Buro Happold. I completed an Engineering Doctorate at Loughborough University in 2016.

Modules taught
I teach undergraduate students in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying. I tend to cover the courses involved with Design and Construction issues.
I am also the Subject Coordinator for MSc Construction Courses.
Research
My area of research is Advanced Construction Methods in the context of design practice. I am interested in the opportunities presented for designers to work more closely with manufacturers in the design, prototyping and development of construction solutions.
