Dr Kate Ji gave a successful virtual seminar on Managing Tourist Congestion for Sustainable Destination Recovery Post-COVID-19 on 14 September 2021. The event attracted participants across the world, including tourism and hospitality practitioners and policy makers. Oxford Deputy Lord Mayor Stephen Goddard, Councillor Mary Clarkson (Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Tourism) and OBBS Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean Professor Tim Vorley participated in the meeting and contributed to the discussion. The councillors commented they 'learnt a lot' from attending the seminar. This event was funded by the British Academy and supported by colleagues at OBBS Research Office and Business & External Engagement.
