Oxford Brookes University ranked in UK top 50 in The Times Good University Guide 2025

Oxford Brookes University has climbed 11 places and into a top 50 position in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide for 2025.

The annual league table ranks 134 UK universities and assesses areas such as student satisfaction with teaching quality, student experience, entry standards, research quality, sustainability and graduate prospects. 

Oxford Brookes has secured 50th place in the overall table, up from 61st in 2024, while also climbing two spots in the South East of England rankings, moving from ninth to seventh.

Professor Alistair Fitt, Vice-Chancellor of Oxford Brookes University, said: “This fantastic achievement is a reflection of the passion and dedication shown by everyone at Oxford Brookes. 

“Moving up 11 places and into the top 50 of the Good University Guide demonstrates the strides we are making in delivering outstanding education, research, and student experience.
