Oxford Brookes ranked amongst the world's top universities for 16 subjects in 2022 global rankings
Oxford Brookes University has today been named as one of the world’s top universities in 16 subjects in the latest QS World University Rankings.
This year sees the University gain world recognition in 16 subjects, three more than 2021, with top performing subject Hospitality & Leisure Management retaining a spot in the top 20 globally.
Business Management Studies, and Architecture & Built Environment also feature again in the global top 100. This is the eighth consecutive year that Oxford Brookes has ranked in the top 100 for Architecture & Built Environment.
The University also improved its ranking for Biological Sciences and Accounting & Finance. Nursing, Sociology and Sports-related Subjects also feature in this year’s rankings.
Professor Alistair Fitt, Vice-Chancellor of Oxford Brookes University, said: “I am very pleased that Oxford Brookes University is again recognised in these global rankings. It is also encouraging to see the University gain world recognition in three additional subjects compared with 2021.

I am very proud to see the tremendous hard work in testing times rewarded with the news of these latest rankings.”

This latest ranking success adds to a long list of achievements for Oxford Brookes.
Oxford Brookes was ranked one of the UK’s top 50 universities in the Guardian University Guide 2022.
In the latest THE Young University Rankings published in February 2022, Oxford Brookes was the 7th highest ranked UK institution for research and 6th in the UK for teaching.
Only last month (March 2022), the Oxford Brookes Global MBA programme was ranked 15th in the world in this year’s QS Online MBA Rankings, moving up one place to 4th in the UK.
The 2022 QS global rankings show independent data on the performance of 1,543 universities in 88 locations across the world, in 51 academic disciplines.
