This year, Oxford Brookes' biggest sustainability event, Green Fortnight, is packed with hands-on activities to inspire, engage, and create real change!

Here’s what’s coming up during Green Fortnight:

Fermentation Workshop

Monday 10 March, 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Ground Floor, Fir Event Space, Clive Booth Student Village

Discover the art of fermentation and learn how to reduce food waste while boosting your gut health! In this fun and interactive workshop, you'll learn the skill to make probiotic-rich foods - sauerkraut and bring a full jar home.

OxClean Spring Clean - litter picking at Headington Hill & Clive Booth

Tuesday 11 March, 11:30am - 1:00pm

Let’s come together to keep our green spaces beautiful and vibrant! Join us for a community litter-picking session at Headington Hill and Clive Booth. It's a simple but powerful way to help protect the environment and support local wildlife.

Swap Shop

Missed the February Swap Shop? Don't worry, the Clive Booth Swap Shop is back! Bring your clothes, accessories, or shoes that you no longer wear, and exchange them for items others have brought. It’s like a thrift store, only totally free!

Bike Dr Repair Sessions

Get your bike ready for spring and start using active travel! We’re offering free bike repairs across multiple campuses during the second week of Green Fortnight.
