Join Tampon Tax Campaigner Laura Coryton and Dr Michele Paule, Reader in Gender, Media and Audiences, in an interactive workshop. Laura Coryton will discuss how she successfully campaigned to end Tampon Tax and her work with Dr Paule and the project Girls, Leadership and Women in the Public Eye teaching girls in 31 state schools across the country the skills in citizen activism and the tools to change the world. This session is for those who see inequalities like sexism, racism and other prejudices and want to know what they can do about it. You’ll be guided to identify what you can change about the issues you care about and take steps to devising your own campaign to achieve it.
