The Personal Safety event brings together teams from across the University and our external partners to provide information on how to keep yourself and your valuables safe.

You will be able to meet representatives and find out more about safety initiatives in place from teams across the University, such as security and community engagement, as well as city wide groups and organisations, including:
- NightSafe Oxford network which launched last year to help keep people safe at night.
- Hollie Guard, an app that provides enhanced levels of protection and is a personal alarm, deterrent, evidence catcher and more.
- Street Pastors, trained volunteers that usually patrol in the town centre on Saturday nights
- Oxford City Angels, a voluntary service of individuals trained to support the safety and security of women during a night out.

You can learn more about these interventions, how you can use the various tools and systems in place to protect yourself and your belongings, and much more.

There will be games and you can try your luck to win prizes and take away a free gift or two.
