Role
I am the technician for two research groups, based in the Sinclair Annex. I am responsible for Health and Safety in the lab, overseeing the tissue culture facility, growing plants in a research greenhouse, ordering and stocktaking, dealing with maintenance issues, disposing of waste, making media and carrying out inductions for new staff and students. I am also involved in preparing for and assisting with undergraduate practicals.
