About us

There are lots of ways we can support current students.

The Careers team provide advice and support to current students and graduates (for 3 years post study completion) at every stage of their career journey. We deliver both centrally and in the curriculum, offer an extensive range of careers resources, careers fairs, networking and volunteering opportunities.

Our services are available to full-time and part-time Oxford Brookes undergraduate and postgraduate students, including research students and Oxford Brookes graduates for up to three years following graduation.

Contact Careers:

The Information Team

The Information Team is the first point of contact for all enquiries to Careers.

We provide a skilled triage service to discuss your queries with you, gather information, and determine the most appropriate form of support. Within the Team, we can help with a wide range of your careers-related needs including CV and covering letter reviews, and initial information and advice on career planning and job searching. We can also help you navigate our extensive resources and can signpost you to the most relevant and up to date sources of careers information.

If more in-depth advice and guidance is required, we may refer you to meet with one of Careers Consultants and we will liaise with you to arrange a suitable time. You can ask us anything and we'll either help or point you towards someone who can.
