Research

As a qualitative researcher with broad interests in the field of HRM and International HRM my current doctoral research focuses more specifically upon international assignees. As a phenomenological exploratory study the focus is on the lived experiences of UK academic faculty involved in international collaborations, The research analyses international assignees’ roles, their sensemaking and identity within the context of transnational educational programmes (TNE).

Additional research interests focus upon the 'future of work' with a key emphasis on workforce/skills development and talent management. This also includes the digitalisation of work and the impact upon people and careers.
