Your Oxford Brookes user account & password At Oxford Brookes, one username and password will allow you to access almost all of the online and computing services you need throughout your time here. We will email your username and password to your personal email inbox when you enrol.

Get your devices online You can set up all of your devices on our Wi-Fi. We use eduroam on campus, and Wifinity in Brookes-owned halls. To access some services you may also need our VPN (Virtual Private Network).

Email, calendar, office tools, online storage & working together We use Google Workspace for our email, calendar, instant messaging, online meetings, documents and spreadsheets. These tools allow you to work with your colleagues and classmates collaboratively, and provide you with all the online storage you need for your work.

Printing, copying & scanning (uniPRINT) Our uniPRINT service allows you to print, copy and scan documents at any one of our Multi-Function Devices (MFD) located in convenient places across all campuses. The uniPRINT online service allows you to easily manage your printing and scanning jobs and personal print budget. Our print room, Brookes Print, is also available for specialist printing requirements, such as large format and binding.

Online learning Our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is Moodle, where you will find most of the information and resources you need for teaching and learning. Further resources are available online and in-person through our Libraries print and digital catalogues. We use Zoom to support any online delivery of courses and, as a member of the University, you get a full Zoom Pro licence too.

Computer facilities & devices The University provides computers in laboratories, computer rooms and in social learning spaces for all to use. In addition we have a Windows laptop loan service (Smart Lockers) and Chromebook loans from the Chromebook Cabinets.

Software & applications University computers contain all software staff and students need to do their work. We use AppsAnywhere to deliver most of our software from the cloud to Brookes-owned computers and to your own personal devices. In addition we provide all students with the ability to use Microsoft Office.
